Unique, customer-centric approach
We are convinced that usability is a very important aspect of user experience, but not the only variable to evaluate! U-sentric wants to enhance the entire user experience!
A customer-centric approach fixes on different problems. What do customers want? What's working and what isn't? Why are users making mistakes and how can we change the application to avoid problems? So, a usable system:
- Fits the user's needs and facilitates tasks
- Reduces stress and is easy to navigate
- Meets the user's expectations and is a joy to use
Utilizing industry's best practices, our usability methodologies ensure that we can help you create an optimal experience for your customers. If it is relevant for your application, we also evaluate the following aspects of user experience:
Accessibility
Accessibility can be viewed as the "ability to access" a product or application. In most cases it specifically focuses on people with disabilities.
Functionality
The need for the right functionality of an application seems obvious. Nevertheless, it is not always evaluated by the customers. Users will select systems that provide functions needed to do their tasks. The usefulness of device features, maintainability, and reliability are some of the issues that could be addressed in such an evaluation.
Likeability
Likeability is a crucial factor in the user experience process of an application. Your product may be very usable and useful, but if it doesn't attract or please users, you have a serious problem, because likeability has obvious consequences for the acceptation and subsequent adoption of your product. When they don't like it, they will never use it.
Sociability
Sociability refers to social interactions among people via ICT-applications (internet communities, websites, IDTV, etc.). Communities with good sociability have social policies that support the community's purpose. The success of applications with a strong social interaction goal is encouraged by a blend of well-designed software (i.e. usability) and carefully crafted social policies (i.e. sociability).
Playability
User testing for games is not limited to usability, but also encompasses other goals that do not include ease of use. A successful game has other aspects that make it engaging and compelling. Our playability methodologies help you determine how to improve not only the player user interface, but also the level of challenge, the pace, game play, game mechanics and game story.
