User & Task Analysis
The key to creating a well-designed product is understanding the users and their needs in each phase of the product development life cycle. After all, users help promote your product to other potential users. And, if users are satisfied and happy with your product, they will be more likely to return based on the brandname alone. A user analysis is an important prerequisite in the development of a system or product.
Some of the issues we consider are:
- Who is the eventual end-user?
- What are the goals and objectives of the end-user?
- What will their technical expertise be when coming to the system?
- How can the existing product better support the user?
By observing and speaking with key users of your system, we will learn how to optimize your system with respect to the users' needs. The overall goal is to design a product that is flexible, usable, and fulfills both user and business objectives.
